Wrapping Up Q1 at SkyBound! 🎉

As we close the first quarter of 2025, we’re feeling grateful for the incredible colleagues and schools we partner with every day. Here are some highlights from the past three months:

✅ SkyBound turned 4! Thanks for being part of our journey. 🎂
✅ Student Success: Many partner schools have shown impressive improvements in IREAD-3 scores compared to this time last year. We can’t share specifics yet—but stay tuned for some exciting updates!
✅ Grant Milestones: Our first-year School Improvement Grant recipients—Sankofa School of Success and Christel House Academy West—are wrapping up their planning and pilot phases. We’re energized to support them as they begin full implementation.
✅ Early College Certification: Congratulations to New Castle Schools on achieving Early College certification, supported by the University of Indianapolis. A fantastic accomplishment!
✅ Building Stronger Connections: We hosted another successful in-person event focused on engaging students and families. Huge shoutout to Enlace Academy, KIPP Indy, Jac-Cen-Del, Rush County, and New Castle for your creativity and commitment!
✅ AI Innovation: Eight of our partner schools have successfully launched customized AI assistants, offering just-in-time support for students, staff, families, and community members.
✅ Strategic Planning Progress: West Lafayette is making steady progress on its district strategic plan through meaningful collaboration with students, staff, families, and the community.
✅ Grant Opportunities: We’re proud to have supported Warren Township, Enlace Academy, KIPP Indy, and Christel House in pursuing funding through the Lilly Endowment. Fingers crossed for great results!

What’s Next for Q2? 🚀

- NextGen SIG Applications: Excited to help more schools apply for this transformative grant—up to $3 million per school!
- Lilly Endowment Initiative (Phase 3): We look forward to guiding schools through this competitive process over the coming weeks.
- Continued Impact: Our commitment remains strong with our NextGen SIG schools—New Castle, Muncie, KIPP Indy, Enlace, Sankofa School of Success, and Christel House Academy West—as we push for outstanding student outcomes.
- Strategic Conversations: We’re excited to continue supporting impactful strategic conversations at Culver, South Central, South Spencer, and Southwestern Jefferson schools!
